Each space on the board can be identified by a three part coordinate system consisting of a color name, a flat axis designation and a space number.
The three parts are separated by periods. The colors and piece names may be abbreviated. So, Silver.Sovereign's Archer.9 can also be written as S.SAr.9. See the illustrations and table below for notation structure and examples. Note: Some spaces on the board may be referenced from any hextant, while others may only be referenced by opposing hextants.
